Energise Healthy Living Centre on Douglas Green, Charlestown became the first Salford LIFT centre to be completed in October 2005. Rt Hon Hazel Blears MP unveiled a plaque and Deputy Mayor Councillor Bernard Murphy toasted to the success of the LIFT centre at a handover ceremony on 14 October.
Energise Healthy Living Centre lies in the heart of the Charlestown, next to St Sebastian's Community Centre on Douglas Green (off Langley Road South): the two centres have a shared entrance. Public transport is situated right outside the centre: Bus No's 27, 51 and 52.
