This brand new, state of the art, health and social care complex is situated in the heart of Walkden, opposite Ellesmere Shopping Centre and next to the Walkden Congregational Church on Bolton Road. Vehicle access and exit to the centre is via Bolton Road.
This brand new Gateway Centre offers both Primary Care Trust services (e.g. GP Surgery, Dentist) and City Council services (e.g. Advice Centre, Library) under one roof in the same location. This is the first time in the UK that a service of this kind has been offered.

Architect
MBLC is an award winning architectural and urban design practice with an established reputation for elegant, sophisticated, contemporary work. Based in the heart of Manchester, MBLC employ 25 staff.
Other urban projects with MBLC involvement have been the regeneration of Hulme, the environmental and economic reconstruction of Blackley village and a 15-acre new housing site in Speke Garston Urban village in Liverpool.
